Islam pays excellent attention to water. This implies how important water is for human life, purification, and drinking. Therefore, in utilizing the water, we must always pay attention to the conditions that are in accordance with Islam and health requirements so that our worship is perfect and our health is maintained. In principle, water is a blessing. Allah Has Gifted this for the benefit of humanity. Humans may use water for purification, drinking, and other things related to the needs of human life. In using water, humans must maintain its purity in the sense that the water is kept clean and not polluted by their behavior and actions and not excessively. Polluted water not only indicates damage to natural preservation but is also harmful to human health and life. As Muslims, we should understand the foundations of environmental preservation because environmental preservation is inseparable from humans as caliphs on this earth. Humans were created as caliphs on this earth to regulate the life of a good and orderly environment. The aim of writing this book is none other than to help readers understand the situation of taking care of natural sources like water. This book first provided satisfactory information regarding the existing problem of water in selected regions. It is important to explain the following part: how modernization, although it has brought several advantages, also serves as a factor in escalating the problem of clean water.
