Human Anatomy and Physiology in Islamic Perspective

This textbook is compiled to support the course of human anatomy and physiology for students of occupational safety and health, nutrition and pharmacy department, Faculty of Health Sciences at Universitas Darussalam Gontor. This book is designed to make it easier for students to understand human anatomy and physiology because the material is presented in simpler language.

The course of human anatomy and physiology is one of the compulsory courses that supports science in the field of occupational safety and health, nutrition and pharmacy department. Although students do not get this course with a large number of semester credits, this course is one of the basic courses to understand the science of occupational safety and health, nutrition and pharmacy department in the next semester. This makes the course of human anatomy and physiology important as a prerequisite for other courses.

This textbook contains an explanation of the structure and function of the organs of the human body. These organ systems include the integumentary system (skin), skeletal system, muscular system, nervous and sensory system, cardiovascular system, endocrine system, respiratory system, digestive system, urinary system and reproductive system. With this textbook, it is expected to help students in the learning process so that the human anatomy and physiology course becomes one of the enjoyable courses and is able to support the achievement of the Faculty of Health Sciences student curriculum.
